The unparalleled genius of Banaras Gharana, Pt. Anokhelal Mishra took the musical world by storm during his short life span from 1914 to 1958. A student of Pt. Bhairav Prasad Mishra, Anokhelalji was famous for his Na-Dhin-Dhin-Na and Dhir-Dhir at an electrifying speed and clarity – a speed which has been unheard of till date. His performances were delivered with remarkable ease while maintaining the authenticity of Banaras Gharana.
